I came up with a brother whose real name was Kemsy
His father was a hustler, one of the best in the
village
His mama was an educator full of intellect
His siblings thought he was cool
They wanted to be exactly like him to the full

His father too, he was proud of him
His mama respected him
With all her dirty linen she trusted him
As he advanced in age his soul simultaneously got

He began to detest school

One chilly morning in an effort to run away from the

Simply like that he had gotten away with a suicide

The second chance somehow directed him to the right
track
He got to school ready to run his books like an

National exams came and he luckily was among the
best in the pack

Kemsy got to high school the same day the devil was
set free
His father took him to the best school in the

In his mind the had done the best thing for his son
However,Kemsy was slowly transitioning on the first
day
At the back of his mind he had nothing to do with
his past
As night fall approached his father blessed him and
kissed him goodbye
The sun went to bed and so did Kemsy in his brand
new school
Early morning the next day he found out he was the only
green ball in a bag of all white
He knew nothing communication skills and correct
pronunciation of words
Hiding it, he tried some degree of silence
Inevitably at the end of the day he was trending
His classmates got to know each other by talking
about him
Simply like that his longest four years had just
commenced
Standing at the crossroads he only had two options
To continue being himself and have no friends at all
And I ain’t saying he was justified
Or try fit in be someone else and bury his past
Not knowing exactly that running away from yourself

However, the damage was too intense to earn him back
his respect
Lonely as hell, no one looks up to him
